Positive Attitude Changes Everything: Shari's Story

 

I've have been blessed with a healthy body and then one day that changed. I found a lump, and it is malignant. At my first chemo appointment, I was told cancer had spread to my lungs, liver, and bone. I am a stage four metastatic breast cancer patient.

I’ve learned that there are effective drugs that are keeping my original METS from growing. I’m not in remission I never will be. We are merely preventing cancer from growing for now.

My life mantra Positive Attitude Changes Everything. I am a mom to eight kids and one adorable grandson. Life is crazy, and I am a journal/planner addict. I enjoy finding new ways to share my day to day life. I found the website Its Because Love. Arona has created beautiful gifts specific for cancer patients. I purchased the Love Heals journal for myself. I write my personal thoughts the good, bad, and especially the ugly. People will ask me what a special gift they could give to a cancer patient might be. I tell them about the Love Heals journal.
